Oldroyd - The ultimate membrane system

Oldroyd Gtx10 - Description

Rotate picture

Similar to the regular Gtx membrane with the benefit of a welded Typar® geotextile, but featuring larger studs tailored to suit the problems encountered with high load bearing and higher drainage requirements. Higher drainage requirements can be necessary in certain applications such as deep foundations, horizontal constructions and certain tunnel applications.

Made from polypropylene, the Gtx10 benefits from Oldroyd’s Multi-Layer Technology, resulting in a membrane with greater strength than normal studded membranes. It is resistant to all chemicals normally found in the soil. It is easy to work with, even at low temperatures.

Multi-Layer TechnologyTM

Oldroyd membranes now feature Multi-Layer TechnologyTM. This provides a stronger sandwich construction allowing recycled material to be incorporated within the centre layer. This is of benefit both to the product and the enviroment.

Key Features

  • Allows backfilling with excavated earth.
  • Resistant to all chemicals normally found in the ground.
  • Greater resistance to load and stress than Oldroyd Gtx.
  • Suitable for applications requiring a higher drainage capacity.
  • Extremely strong, minimising the risk of damage when backfilling.
  • Recycled material in centre layer of membrane.
