Oldroyd Gtx - Description

Oldroyd Gtx is a studded membrane with a welded Typar® geotextile, providing a barrier to protect walls from ground water. The welded Typar® geotextile provides permanent bonding ensuring it will not easily separate and is not subject to slipping over time in use. It allows the use of insulation on basement walls and also for horizontal constructions where there is need for drainage.
Both the membrane and the Typar® geotextile are made from polypropylene.
The Oldroyd Gtx membrane system combats the problem of dampness in exterior walls and basements, allowing good drainage in the gap between the Typar® geotextile and the membrane. This gap leads the water away to the drainage channel without any risk of blocking from soil.
The membrane in Oldroyd Gtx incorporates Multi-Layer Technology giving improved strength and allowing the use of recycled material in the centre layer, benefiting the environment.

Multi-Layer TechnologyTM
Oldroyd membranes now feature Multi-Layer TechnologyTM. This provides a stronger sandwich construction allowing recycled material to be incorporated within the centre layer. This is of benefit both to the product and the enviroment.
