Background:

These summer houses is located at Bærø Island close to Kragerø in Norway. When the roof of the garage facilities started to leak Nikolai Olsen from Stor-Oslo Prosjekt contacted Oldroyd to ensure there was installed a safe drainage layer. The garage roof is located in front of the building and is very visible from the appartements, therefore it was chosen to install a green roof wich also could be an area of use. 

Solution: 

The Oldroyd Gtx10 was rolled out over a waterproof membrane as shown below. 

Soil and grass seed was then laid out and a part of the area was covered with pavement stones.

Result:

The residents now has a dry parking covered by a nice green area.
